Design and Specifications of the 2010 Quarter
The 2010 quarter marked the inaugural year of the America the Beautiful Quarters Program, a 12-year initiative showcasing national parks and sites from each U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia. This program succeeded the popular 50 State Quarters Program and the D.C. & U.S. Territories Program.
The year 2010 featured five different reverse designs, representing Hot Springs National Park (Arkansas), Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming), Yosemite National Park (California), Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona), and Mount Hood National Forest (Oregon).

Rarity Factors and Value Drivers
The condition of 2010 quarters significantly impacts their value, especially for circulation strikes. Uncirculated coins with full luster and no wear are highly desirable. For circulation strikes, coins graded MS67 and above can command premium prices, with MS68 and MS69 examples being particularly valuable.
For proof coins, the difference between a PR69 and PR70 can be substantial in terms of value. Collectors seek coins with sharp strikes, full luster, and no contact marks or blemishes.

Cameo and Deep Cameo proofs are highly sought after, with Deep Cameo examples commanding the highest premiums. For circulation strikes, coins with exceptional eye appeal, strong strikes, and attractive toning can sell for prices well above typical market values.
While not particularly rare, complete sets of all five designs from both Philadelphia and Denver mints in high grades are popular among collectors. Additionally, First Day of Issue coins and those in original mint packaging may carry slight premiums.
